Graduating from cooking school in 1985, I started at the prestigious Celtic Manor Hotel near Newport ,Wales,host of the 2010 Ryder Cup. From there I traveled to London working for many big name restaurants and hotels, working with celebrity chef Marco Pierre White and cookbook author Prue Leith.
After an overdose of the big smoke, I decided to discover the wilds of the world, with stints in Barbados,Montreal and Vancouver, which then finally led to a job opportunities in the Canadian Rockies.
I am currently the head Chef @ The TroUgh Dining Co. One of Canada's top 10 restaurants.
I also provide personal consultations, private events, cooking lessons, personal chef in your home, and I provide Highland Executive Chaffeur with their picnic menu.
How it works
we set up a convenient time for a consultation, you approve a menu and wines and labour. we arrange a deposit, I shop and cook live at your event or I can prepare your meals package them with heating instructions and leave them in your fridge or freezer,then clean up your kitchen.Visit Chef George @ Canmore Organic Chef
